AMI’s principles on change & implementation

Everyone is an implementer. We all have ideas. We all sense opportunities and make plans to realize our dreams. We hope and expect others to follow, cooperate and support our efforts.

In many organizations and projects people work together enthusiastically to create brilliant joint products. If all goes smoothly, success almost seems self-evident. People share a goal, they sense obstacles, build upon each other’s strengths and contribute their best selves.

But sometimes initiatives stall. Or they die a quiet death. Projects run aground and commitments fade. Life seems to seep from them. Sometimes change feels so overwhelming that we don’t even know where to start. Why do some change efforts succeed where others fail? How can you inspire people to join in and contribute?  How to refloat faltering projects? How to bring back inspiration and constructive energies?

We believe that engaged people form the beating heart of every organization and that every individual wants to make a difference. That lasting change can only be brought about through people. That organizations make more sense when people contribute with heart and soul. We foster people taking full ownership of their work, their professional development and that of their colleagues. To create organizations, projects and teams that are truly inspired and motivated from within.

We create movement and facilitate change based on a number of corner stone principles we have developed through our work with clients over the years.

•          People want to make a difference

•          Conflict is healthy

•          Co-creation is fundamental

•          Real change begins in the personal realm

•          A process approach leads to results

•          Hidden rules determine the game

•          Learning is about daring to experiment and daring to fail

•          First results seem small

We consider these principles our DNA; the core of our philosophy, our way of working, our colour, our identity, our character. We know that this DNA creates successful implementations.
